ORMISTON GORGE

001. A couple of weekends ago Ben and myself escaped town for the night and went camping at a magical little place called Ormiston Gorge. It's about an hour and half out of town and definitely one of my favourite places I have visited in the Northern Territory so far. The natural all-year-round swimming hole almost has a "sandy beach" all around its shore and is shadowed by raw red cliffs. I know I say this in every travel post about the Territory... but it is seriously so beautiful and I am constantly amazed at just how amazing mother nature is! Just take a look for yourself!

002. We slept in a swag under the full moon. went swimming in the ice cold water and just felt at peace in nature. After working two jobs for the past couple of months, it was nice just having time to do nothing. I only have exactly one month left of working though, and a few days after that before I leave this little town. I'm feeling a little sad to leave this magical place, but am excited for new adventures that will follow on!

003. Ooooh PS. this whole post was shot on my new camera (which Im still trying to get the hang of)! And totally edited on VSCO because I have still not organised myself enough to purchase Photoshop again (oops). Fingers crossed I can squeeze in a few more adventures before I leave so I can play around with the camera more and show you how awesome Central Australia is while I get the chance hehe.
