001. I love wombats! They are my favourite absolute favourite Aussie animal. I love just being in the same place and hanging out with wombats around. This is probably why the Tidal River campground in Wilsons Promontory National Park, is one of my favourite places in camp in Victoria. It just happens to be a literal wombat haven!
002. We are talking wombats so happy and comfortable that you see them hanging out in the day time. It blows my mind as an avid nature and film girlie, that all of these photos came from one roll of film just over a couple of days! It was the middle of winter, so half of the campground isn’t open for humans, but it meant that the wombats were out in full force, enjoying all the fresh car-free grass.
003. Wilsons Prom in Winter is a wombat wonderland. I have some other photos from this roll, which turned out pretty special too - I’ll try share them in another post soon!
