DAINTREE RAINFOREST ON B+W 35MM

001. Making a promise to myself to start working on my creativity + memory muscles by writing + sharing again on this space of the internet again. The human experience sometimes feels so fast paced; I have endless feelings, thoughts, adventures, art to express + understand. The purpose of creating via social media makes me feel empty. I really do like the solid sense of owning this website, paying for my domain + being entitled to post whatever my heart feels called to. I’ve had a website/blog on the internet since I was in my early teens. It feels nostalgic to be writing again in this safe space of self expression. The strange journey of a creative learning to create, adapt + thrive with the tools of 21st century society.

002. With the promise of many musings + meanderings to come, I will keep this post short ’n’ sweet, as my writing muscles are still a little out of shape. This post is sharing a few of my favourite raw black + white images shot on 35mm, while living on Eastern Kuku Yalanji land in the Daintree Rainforest, last year. Pure Mama Daintree magic.
