30 THINGS TO DO IN BOWEN

001. I've been visiting a little town in North Queensland called Bowen since 2019 and spent five months living there in 2026. During that time, I worked on a little illustration project celebrating some of my favourite things to do and see around town. The result is A Little Guide to Bowen, a set of two colourful A3 illustrated posters. One features a map of Bowen and local highlights, while the other brings together 30 individually illustrated things to see & do around town.

002. To accompany the posters, I've also created a free printable A4 checklist featuring all 30 activities. Whether you're visiting Bowen for the first time or have lived there for years, print yourself a copy & tick them off as you explore! I’m an illustrator and qualified graphic designer … design thinking works it way into all my illustration projects! I designed this printable so local cafés, shops & accommodation providers are welcome to print copies for their visitors and guests too.
