POSTCARDS FROM BOWEN
001. Escaped up north for the winter … feels a little like de ja’ vu from my early 20’s chapters, but this time I’ve stopped in Bowen, where my mum and my sister both now call home! I’ve been shooting lots of film and spending a lot of time in the sunshine. Life is very slow, compared to where I just came from, and adjusting to rural small town remote-ish life has been an adventure, to say the least.
002. Bowen is in the Whitsundays, a pretty picturesque area of the Queensland Coast. The area is known for growing juicy mangoes and copping tropical cyclones in the sweaty summers. Even now, in the winter, it’s pretty windy on an average day, thanks to the trade winds of the area. But when we get a few days, where the wind drops… everything is like glass and it’s the most magical spot on the coast.
002. Sharing more sunny shots and adventures soon.
